Here is how easily you can have your day thrown off.
I had a junk removal guy scheduled to come by so to prepare I go into the garage to organize exactly what I want hauled off.
Anyway in the process I discovered a bunch of boxes that were soaked actually ruined along with everything inside of them from some water.
I start to investigate and realize there is a leak around the water heater with water spewing out. That changed the course of my day because now I had to solve this until I can get someone out to fix the problem.
Anyway, a small leak can bring down the biggest ships is somewhat cliché but holds a lot of truth. Here is a leak I experienced in my business that cost me opportunities.
I did not realize my voicemail was FULL so I was not receiving my messages and missed out on a couple of speaking gigs. By the time I realized it the opportunities had passed. Since every speaking gig will almost always produced at least one more paid speaking engagement, the question is how much did I miss out on because of this leak I had in my business.
Take a moment and see what leaks you can fix in what you offer the world and you will be flooded with way more opportunity. Naturally being flooded with more business is a good thing.
To help stimulate your thought process here is one leak that slips by many people and one I had to fix in my business. For the longest I “thought” because I was good at what I was able to do that by itself would be enough to get people calling me.
Nobody knew how good I was until AFTER they experienced what I had to offer.
In this case the leak was in my thought process and here is how I fixed the leak.
I discovered marketing and realized being good at what you do helps you on the back end AFTER someone knows you exist.
Go out and fix those leaks.
Thank you for attending another episode of Eric’s Escapades.
Have an Amazing Day!

P.S. I received a call from my friend Joe Turner who also happens to be a member of one of my programs AND a reader of Eric’s Escapades. Joe asked if I would like to perform on his production Atlanta Magic Night, I said sure I would love to do it. Joe and I tried to make this happen a couple of years ago had there was scheduling conflict so I’m excited we can do it now. If you are in Atlanta or close by, I would LOVE to have you come out to the show. The link below will give you all of the details.
