? He was Fuming because of this… Don’tmake this mistake

One of the best marketing strategies is to say
thank you when some refers your services.  Here
are a couple of ways to say thanks for the
referral. . .  

• Send a gift card
• Give a referral fee
• Send a thank you card
• Send a gift card
• Send a gift basket

Naturally there is a TON more you could do.  Even
a combo of all of the above.

Seems obvious but it’s not.  Matter of fact
early on I made the mistake too.

This weekend a friend shared a story in which he
referred a Chef to a client of his and the client
has used the Chef close to a dozen times so far.  
That’s adds up to some really good money. 

Anyway, my friend was doing an event and the Chef
was there and all of this came to light and my
friend was MAD that the Chef never bothered to say
thanks for the referral.

He told me; he told the Chef he will never send
her any more business.  While telling me the story
he was truly upset.

A referral is the easiest client / money you will
ever make.  Just remember to say thank you for the
referral.

P.S.  Matter of fact a friend referred me for an
