Yesterday I mentioned I would share a simple strategy that agents, speaker bureaus will LOVE YOU FOR doing and it will book additional gigs for you.
Here it is – get business cards with your face name etc. on the card BUT include the Speaker’s Bureau’s / Agent contact information.
This way when someone askes for your information at an event and agent has booked you are still supporting your client aka the speaker’s bureau / agent.
Equally important because your name and face is on the card when someone uses the card and reaches out to the speakers bureau they know exactly who you are. This is important because many times people forget the details.
For the $10 - $20 investment in the business cards this will work wonders for you when you are in this situation.

P.S. Also make sure to let the speaker’s bureau / agent you have created the cards with your face their contact info, so they know you are passing out their information. Also make sure before you do an event for them there is not a 3rd party involved because you could be going behind that person back. The agent will let you know if that’s the case.
