Micro Training - Structure Your Fees Properly
Hello Future Superstar Speaker,
I learned this lesson the hard way. When I first started speaking I was so excited that someone was hiring me to speak I did not take into account that sometimes it took me multiply days to get to and from an event.
Especially on the West Coast if I'm traveling from Atlanta. Overtime I learned to charge more if it's going to take more time OR/AND create additional opportunities while you are in a particular city.
Once I know I'm going to be in a certain area I start shopping for additional speaking engagements.

- I will also set up a self produce opportunity while I'm in a city.
- I will set up meetings with a potential client in a city.
- I will also invite potential clients to a speaking engagement to experience the presentation LIVE.
- I will also set up media opportunities while in an area.

P.S. Another way to handle this is to link a vacation around a speaking engagement. Go talk for an hour and pay for your vacation.
