Lisa understands first-hand the effects of shame and guilt as she had a drug and alcohol abuse problem that took control of her life.

She started drinking at an early age and then progressed to using other drugs later in life which led her down a deep dark path.
For years she made numerous attempts to get free from addiction, until one day she realized she was going die if she did not make a drastic change in her life.

She strive to give back to those who are battling drug/alcohol addiction, HIV/AIDS and other life problems which led her to obtain her education surrounding the helping profession.
