Why I Do What I Do

After experiencing a failed Adoption I was placed in California's Child Welfare System and I lived in numerous foster homes and group homes until I was eighteen.
During this time in my life I was really going through some serious personal challenges, however I was able to focus on something else while I was was living in foster care.
Let me explain!
When I was five years someone taught me a simple magic trick. Shortly afterwards when I was placed in foster care, The Art of Magic gave me something positive to focus on while I was being moved from home to home. Magic SAVED my life!
During this time in my life I was really going through some serious personal challenges, however I was able to focus on something else while I was was living in foster care.
Let me explain!
When I was five years someone taught me a simple magic trick. Shortly afterwards when I was placed in foster care, The Art of Magic gave me something positive to focus on while I was being moved from home to home. Magic SAVED my life!

Trust me when I say I have made my fair share of mistakes, but for the most part I was able to stay out of trouble because I would sit around and practice the art of magic for hours on end, it was insane. Eventually I became really good, so good in fact people started hiring me to entertain at parties.
Well I was hooked, I discovered what I was good at and I decided this was how I was going to make my living. Keep in mind I was just a kid when I made this decision.
Of course I heard nonsense like -

Luckily for me I completely ignored the Haters and when I turned 18 I was no longer a ward of the court and I aged out of foster care system.
I immediately starting living on my own! With no real support system I realized I had some serious decisions to make concerning my life, so I started reading books on Personal Development & Self Help.
I implemented everything I felt would impact my life in a positive way. This really helped me combat some of the negative thoughts I was exposed to while growing up and most importantly, give me a Strong Foundation to TRANSFORM my life.
Anyway, after high school I served a brief stint in the United States Air Force and worked a few odd jobs before deciding to make my dream come true.
I immediately starting living on my own! With no real support system I realized I had some serious decisions to make concerning my life, so I started reading books on Personal Development & Self Help.
I implemented everything I felt would impact my life in a positive way. This really helped me combat some of the negative thoughts I was exposed to while growing up and most importantly, give me a Strong Foundation to TRANSFORM my life.

I Had Two Major Goals At This Point In My Life.

2. Travel the world entertaining audiences with my unique brand of magic.
I hopped on a Greyhound Bus with a duffel bag, a magic book and a course on setting goals. I arrived in Atlanta three days later with the intention of making my dream come true.
Guess what, I failed so badly I found myself homeless. I went back to the drawing board and through a series of actions I was introduced to Direct Response Marketing.
Marketing and Sales was the missing key to making my dream come true. Over time I Mastered Marketing and totally transformed my life.
I was able to turn my passion for the art of magic into a wickedly profitable business entertaining as a corporate magician and a keynote speaker for the largest organizations in the world.
Corporations like Coca-Cola, NFL Players Association, Delta Airlines, United Way the entire client list reads like a who's who of the Fortune 500.
Over the years my company has produced events for the Super Bowl, The Centennial Olympic Games and we created and produced the world famous publicity campaign The Blindfold Drive Across America. This was done to raise awareness for Youth in Foster Care.

And to be honest these things only happened when I discovered how to attract opportunity with Powerful Marketing.

This was the first time the questions had nothing to do with how I performed the illusions in my show. Instead everyone wanted to know how I was able to overcome my challenges and live the life I'm currently living.

Before I Forget I'm Always Asked Did I Reach My Second Goal and Have a Family of My Own?

YES, I got married and now have two Amazing Children! The Twins.
My failed adoption led to me living in foster care & group homes but more importantly prepared me to be a parent. I'm EXCITED to be their Father.
As my kids continue to grow up I can't wait to share the life lessons I wish I would have been taught that would of made my journey a little easier along the way.
One of the lessons I learned in the game of life "You are not forced to live life based the cards you were dealt. You can stack the deck in your favor and live your life according to those cards."
